How can he?

How can he?

How can he touch my heart

and cast it aside

How can he say he loves

me and  speak so many lies

How does he affect my heart so deeply

And take from my love so freely

How can he listen

and say that he knows

Then pound my soul to the ground

with blow after blow

How can he say

he puts me first when I'm last

and crush what we

have like crushing a glass

How can he say its forever

 when he knows it won’t last

How does he do it

I just want to know

Because what he is
